“I saw visions of horror beyond belief, of worlds dying, the air poisoned by towers belching poisons into the air , of dead trees, their leaves scorched, and fertile lands turned into deserts. I saw men with gray faces and frightened eyes living in cities of stone, scurrying like ants from day to day.” —David Gemmell, Midnight Falcon
Ships[edit | edit source]
Ships replace armies in Parhelion, and can be built with a successively heavier ramp cost per ship. A ship can be upgraded to produce all sorts of perks. You will always have one ship spawned for free if you have no further ships existing, this ship appears wherever your capital is positioned. Ships must be enhanced through combat - once they are destroyed you must build more ships to start the levelling process again.
STELO enters the game with one extra basic-level ship.
Space station[edit | edit source]
Unlike a ship, a Space station does not require tribute, but reduces your tribute score to 0 and prevents you from attacking. In general, space stations function like a secondary "territory" which can be moved about to orbit around the different planets of the Parhelion universe. Once built, space stations can be upgraded and function like territories, but do not have the benefit of providing resources on hand. Different components can be researched in the game to create different resources and feature slots for your space station. Space Stations generate bonus cards for free whereas ships have to purchase them.
